A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

 

1.       Double minded

A.   Strong (1374)

1.     From two words:  dis (twice) and psuche (soul, spirit)

2.     Two-spirited, that is, vacillating (in opinion or purpose)

A.   Thayer:  wavering, uncertain, doubting, divided in interest

B.    Vine:  two-souled, hence, double-minded

 

2.       Unstable

          A.  Strong (182):  inconstant

          B.  Thayer:  unstable, inconstant, restless

          C.  Vine:  N/A

 

3.       Ways

         A.  Strong (3598):  a road, by implication, a progress

          B.  Thayer:  a way, a travelled way, a course of conduct

          C.  Vine:  a natural path, road, way…of a course of conduct
