Sister to Sister Lectureship Retreat is an annual event designed to bring local sisters of the Church of Christ together to form closer knit relationships and to strive to support each other during times of distress, build up and admonish each other on key topics in a non-threatening environment. 2026 Theme: A Sisterhood Reset: Restoring Childlike Faith Matthew 18:2-4 An uplifting service of spiritual songs and a short bible devotional for the residents of an assisted living facility. Anthem Lakes Valentine's Day Visit Give residents a Valentine gift The whole community is invited to OceanSide to take any free clothing items that they can use. Ladies, join the OceanSide ladies for lunch and fellowship at a local restaurant. Men from the Arlington, Dean Road, and OceanSide congregations meet for a belt bustin' breakfast followed by a spiritually challenging discussion. Prepare the Valentine gifts to give to Anthen Lakes residents There is a huge need in our brotherhood today to develop godly leadership, leadership in the home, the workplace and in the church. Thanks to the vision of the Lake City Elders a program was started to encourage such leadership training. Each year speakers from all over the brotherhood come to offer biblical lessons that challenge and encourage men to become the leaders God expects. TODAY'S DEVOTIONAL January 24, 2026 Romans 1:28 – And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient. Thought: Man often comes to believe that he does not need God. When this happens, God’s law is complete rejected. The individual’s mind becomes “reprobate.” One definition of that term is “worthless.” This worthless state of mind creates the second definition of reprobate, that is, “rejected.” Those who reject God are rejected by Him because their minds are corrupt, worthless.
